Celebrating Ron Tompkins' (Jason's uncle's) 70th birthday.
Sunday, August 8th.

We took a stroll through the town of Jackson.

A stuffed bison in town (lt) and Jason standing in front of a herd of wild bison (rt).

Celebrating U. Ron's 70th.

The most important thing Lyell learned on the trip - how to keep everyone entertained by exposing his belly throughout dinner (training by Uncle Phil.) (rt).

U. Ron (lt), Geoff (rt).

A. Suzie (lt), A. Carolyn (rt).

Wearing his Ronapalooza hat and reading our sentiments on his poster. Mom came up with the "Ronapalooza" concept, Jason and I created the graphic.

Lyell preparing his ice cream so he can finish it up with a straw (another trick encouraged by Uncle Phil.) (rt)

Back to the bar for the infamous blue margarita (lt), Mom & A. Carolyn (rt).

Scott & U. Tom (lt); Jas and I (rt).

Group shot in the bar (lt). We were hoping for a smooth trip home on Monday, however they cancelled our flight out of Jackson Hole and there were no more available flights 'til Wednesday. So we snagged the last rental car out of Jackson Hole and drove to Salt Lake City to catch a flight to LAX. Here's a nice shot of Idaho.
