(page 7) Leaving Croatia for a few days in Slovenia.

That night we had a traditional dinner at a restaurant called Licka Kuca. On the menu was lamb, veal and roasted potatoes.

Jason wasn't too thrilled with the meal, but I thought it was really good! For dessert was fried dough with powdered sugar.

More of the beautiful Adriatic.

Before we entered Slovenia, we stopped for lunch at a picturesque town in Croatia called Opatija.

Its Austrian-Hungarian architecture started in 1844, when a rich Austrian built an opulant villa. His rich Habsburg friends followed suit.

Lunch at a delicious seaside restaurant.

The Postojnska Caves in Slovenia.

The caves stayed at a constant temperature of about 48 degrees F. Pretty chilly so a guy in our group was nice enough to lend me his extra sweater. We took these cute little trains for about 10 minutes so we could start our tour deeper within the caves.
